When you acquire or fit an OEX product you have the peace of mind in knowing that it is backed by a comprehensive warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the period outlined in the following table. The OEX Warranty is provided in additional to any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

To make a claims under the OEX Warranty you should return the faulty product to your place of purchase your expense, together with  details of the fault and the vehicle application and mileage.

In order to assist us to assess your claim, please ensure you provide proof of purchase in the form of an invoice or invoice number from the place of purchase.

The OEX Warranty does not apply to failure or damage to a product caused by incorrect or faulty fitment, accidental or intentional damage, failure of other products, incorrect application, environmental damage or repair or modification carried out by anyone other than GPC Asia Pacific.  Use of refrigerant gas other than that specified below and in the product specifications may cause damage to which the OEX Warranty will not apply.

The OEX Warranty does not cover charges incurred for rectification, de-installation, re-installation and shipping unless the charges have been previously approved in writing by GPC Asia Pacific.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GPC Asia Pacific excludes any liability generally and under this OEX Warranty for lost profit, lost revenue, or any hire car, towing or accommodation costs associated directly or indirectly with the failure of any OEX product. All OEX products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.  You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other loss or damage.  You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

*Conditions for Air Conditioning Components & relevant Tools and Equipment:

R12 and R134A and in some cases R404 are the only refrigerants recognised or recommended and approved by the O.E manufacturers for use with automotive products.  GPC Asia Pacific applies these recommendations to OEX products.  For more information concerning any OEX air conditioning components, tools & equipment and common possible causes for their failure, please refer to our “Common causes for air conditioning component, tools & equipment failure” document, by clicking the link.

Definitions:

**Passenger Vehicle:

Sedan, wagon, utility, SUV, 4WD or van or not more than 2 tonne carrying capacity, which is designed, used and maintained for private use and the transportation of people. Not used for hire, compensation, profit, or in the furtherance of a commercial enterprise. On road use only.

***Commercial vehicle:

Vehicles designed, used and maintained for the transportation of persons or property for hire, compensation, profit or in the furtherance of a commercial enterprise. Includes on road and off road use.
